These are the Canine-Detect Pest Control reviews we have, printed in full and unedited: a backyard mosquito plan, a property manager’s recurring account, and a termite treatment. No score, no tally. Read what each person said, and we will tell you what it shows about how we work.

Why only three reviews

Because three is what our customers have written for us, and we would rather show three real ones than pad the page. Each names the people who did the work and says how it went, which is more useful than a number. The about page explains who we are, and a free inspection lets you meet Richard before you decide anything.

A backyard she had avoided for eight years

I have to tell the WORLD how great Canine-Detect Pest Control is! For at least 8 years I’ve avoided my back yard because of the hordes of mosquitoes. Finally this year I tried Canine-Detect. What a difference! I can finally get outside into my garden and tend the grapevines without getting bit! My kids can now play in our backyard! Richard is amazing and very professional — they stand by their product! Romeo is a great service person! I love this company!

Therese M.Homeowner, mosquito control

What this shows: a mosquito plan is judged by whether you can use your yard, and Therese measures it in grapevines tended and kids outside. She names Richard, the owner, and Romeo, the technician who did the visits, because those are the people she dealt with. And “they stand by their product” is the part of a recurring plan that only shows over a season, not on the first visit. If mosquitoes are keeping you inside, see how our mosquito control in Evansville works.

A property manager who needs a vendor that answers

Great price. I’m a property manager for an apartment building and some single-family homes. Richard and Gil go above and beyond for us. They communicate and educate us well on any issues. They also communicate with tenants when needing to make appointments. Highly recommend.

Stacy P.Property manager, apartment building and single-family rentals

What this shows: for a property manager, the pest is rarely the hard part. The hard part is the vendor who does not call back and the tenant who has to be chased for an appointment. Stacy’s account runs the way we want every commercial account to run: Richard and Gil, our operations manager, explain what they found and why, and they schedule directly with tenants so the manager is not the go-between. That is the service on our commercial and property management pest control page.

A termite job, first call to finish

I highly recommend Canine-Detect Pest Control. Very professional and knowledgeable. Richard and his team treated our home for termites. From the first call to Richard until completion of treatment we received professional service in a timely manner. Their work ethic and knowledge is followed up with outstanding customer service. It’s good to see that excellent customer service still exists.

MaddieHomeowner, termite treatment

What this shows: termites are the job where the license matters most. Richard holds Indiana’s 7B termite license along with the 7A supervisory license, so the person who takes the first call is the one qualified to diagnose the problem and plan the treatment. Maddie describes the whole arc, first call to completion, and what she comes back to is that the knowledge came with follow-up. That is how we run every termite control job in Southwest Indiana.

What the three have in common

  • People, not a truck. Every review names who showed up: Richard, Gil or Romeo. They are the team.
  • Explaining is part of the job. “Educate us,” “knowledgeable,” “professional.” People notice when you tell them what is going on instead of spraying and leaving.
  • The work holds up after the visit. A season of mosquito relief, an account that keeps running, a termite job followed through.
